The Healing Hunter Foundation (HHF) is a local, not for profit, family that uplifts children while they battle for life. Formed when the world lost a little boy named Hunter, the focus of the HHF has been to directly better the lives of little cancer warriors and their families. And we are sweetly and most definitely enhancing the lives of children touched by cancer.

3rd Annual iPod Birthday BASH
A GIFT TO REMEMBER | Lenore Thawley (right), President and Founder of the Healing Hunter Foundation, gives an iPod to Noemi Torres, a patient at Randall Children's Hospital at Legacy Emanuel, on Friday. This is the third year that Thawley's foundation has given gifts to youths battling cancer at area hospitals to mark the Sept. 21 birthday of her son, Hunter, who died of Leukemia in 2010.
Healing Hunter Foundation's iPod Birthday BASH - 2013
The Healing Hunter Foundation donated an iPod Touch to every child battling cancer at
Doernbecher Children's Hospital and Randall Children's Hospital on Friday, Sept. 20th in honor of their son Hunter, who lost his battle to AML Leukemia in 2010.
It's was an amazing fundraising effort and
with the help, support and love of all of their sponsors, fans,
friends and family, they were able to donate 40 iPods this year!!!!!
The kids were truly, over the moon, with excitement
when they received their spunky, lil packages that contained
a 4th Generation, 16gig iPod Touch.
Hand delivered with love, these gifts provide amazing
amounts of entertainment and joy while these brave, lil'
warriors go through treatment, usually for weeks or months at a time.
It opens up a whole world of FUN for them
right at their fingertips and they are always greatly appreciated!

Another wonderful success!
On the night before Easter,
All through the halls,
Lil’ warriors were sleeping,
Under bright, twinkling stars.
Sparkling with utmost delight,
And hearts full of love,
These stars shined brilliant cues,
To sprinkle sweetness from above.
As the stars gave their cue,
In snuck sweet, bunny nurses,
That had beautiful, sacks full of goodies,
Legos, puzzles, books, toys and purses!
For little did these sleeping, warriors know,
That bunnies all over town,
had been thinking of them, sweetly,
and were so very excited for dawn.
For when the sun came up,
And their eyes opened wide,
They set sights upon surprise sacks,
Sweet, Easter Bunnies delivered to hide.
These sacks were ripped open with joy,
Their hearts rang laughter and love,
And they were COVERED in toys,
While the bunnies and bright stars, twinkled love from above.

Surprise Easter Delivery
The Healing Hunter Foundation will be making a Surprise Easter Delivery
to the kids fighting cancer at Doernbecher Children's Hospital on
Friday, March 29th 2013!
We will be stuffing 25 Easter sacks full of toys, gift cards, snacks and treats
that will be hand delivered with love to each and every kid
that is spending their Easter in the hospital.
Each bag gets about 10-15 items and sometimes we will include more
if the patients have siblings that also spend lots of time in the hospital,
while their special, lil' loved one goes through their treatments.
If you would like to contribute, you may send in or drop off toys,
email gift certificates or make a donation.
(Toy wish list is at the end of this post.)
